Andrew Barker, senior director of sponsorships for Keurig Dr Pepper, leads the identification, assessment, negotiation and activation of sports, entertainment and philanthropic properties for a company with more than 28,000 employees, 125 owned, licensed and partner beverage brands, and $15 billion in annual sales. 

Andrew has held more than 10 roles across the marketing and commercial organizations of KDP over the course of more than 24 years with the company. Prior to his current role that he assumed in December 2020, he served for five years as senior director of omnichannel sales and marketing, managing clients including Amazon, Target, Best Buy, Kohl’s, Bed, Bath and Beyond, Kroger, Albertson’s, Publix, Shop Rite, Stop n Shop, Ahold, Dollar General, Costco and BJs Wholesale. He joined KDP (then known as The Dr Pepper / Seven Up Co) in 2001 as manager of foodservice marketing and has served in numerous leadership roles across the enterprise including KDP’s Coca Cola sales organization; customer marketing, managing Walmart; innovation (Venom Energy); brand management (Snapple); and media (Dr Pepper).

He began his career in the sports industry working for a variety of well-known entities including FIFA, MLB, Southwest Conference, NBA and Streetball Partners. 

Andrew received his bachelor’s degree from Texas Tech University and earned an MBA from SMU’s COX School of Business.
